A fine pair of early 16th century carved oak panels.
Depicting the Lion Of St Mark above a pair of mythical birds each in a raised border with a stepped capital to the center
Very good carving and colour,with heavy shamfered back and each panel having a small peg to the top inner side ,this is where it would have originaly been secured in the frame.
