Early 17th century carved oak bible box

A wonderful English Jacobean Carved Oak Bible Box
Circa 1610-20
The three plank top with moulded edge over a fine carved front with lunettes, the center with a delicate fern leaf ,the top corners with leaf and bud design,the sides also with lunettes and fern.
A solid heavy box with replaced period ironwork and good dry surface.

20" deep
9.5" high
