A 17th Century Carved Oak Chest Front.

This joined oak chest front is elaborately carved with a three panel front with botanical motifs and numerous other structural and ornamental traits comparable to the documented practices of the workshop that Thomas Dennis apprenticed at based in Ottery St Mary Exeter before relocating to Massachusetts

The front carved with three panels all showing the Dennis signature of Botanical foliage and S-scroll design.

In good order patina and colour.
