A Small 17th Century Oak and Elm Bible Box.

A wonderful and rare oak and elm bible box of small size,the front and sides carved with lunettes.

It is rare to find small bible boxes and this example is constructed oaf oak with an elm base and lid.

Internal has traces of original floral paper lining and the lid has traces of old worm .
