A Rare 19th Century Welsh Slate Love Token.

North Wales Circa 1850.

This rare love token is in amazing condition for slate as it chips and cracks quite easily.

This example is of rare form carved as an easel as they are usually carved as miniature bureau's,spoons and door stops.given as signs of love and devotion.

This example comes with the classic welsh bullseye design and a pierced heart motif.

Again i must mention that the condition and originality of this item is perfect.
