A Fine Pair Of Elizabethan Carved Oak Caryatids.

This fun pair are finely carved with the traditional tobacco leaves to the top of the heads of mischievous looking males with tight curly hair full beards a ruff and their arms folded one covered in their robes like slings,below is the face of a lion with swags protruding from its mouth.

Most probably from an overmantle due to their size,presented in very good order with an original ebony finish.
