A Pair Of 17th Century Dutch Corbels.

Dutch Circa 1660.

This pair of grotesque corbels are carved from baltic oak depicting a man with a headdress and impressive twisted moustache and what i depict as a woman with curled hair showing her teeth or it could be a man as what is it they say "beauty is in the eye of the beholder."
Competent carving with a nice light colour and definition due to the use of baltic oak which is lighter in colour and weight to English oak.
