A 16th Century Oak Parchemin Panel.

English Circa 1520.

This little gem of a panel carved in the reign of Henry VIII with a parchemin design with the added bonus of a central padlock motif with two initials C under T or this could be a merchants mark,which is clasped over a vine branch flanked by leaf and grapes with leaf and grapes to each corner.

A great colour and surface with a small repair to the facing right hand top corner.
