An Early 16th Century Cornish Carved Oak Bench End

Cornwall Circa 1520
A wonderful carved pew end typical of many bench ends from the West Country (south-west England).

With tracery design to the top wyvern beasts in the middle and quatrefoils to the base .
In good condition with a bone dry surface (a true barn find ) with signs of old woodworm and trimmed to both sides.
This bench end is almost identical to the benches in situ at Morwenstow Church and the last image is of one still in situ.
