A Chunky Stick Back Chair With Lashings Of Original Paint.

West Country Circa 1800
A wonderful chair of chunky proportions constructed from Ash and Elm,the curved crest rail over a stick back on a substantially thick seat over four staved legs shaved hexagonally.
Coated in thick maroon paint with edges of natural colour coming through.
In original condition with an iron bracket to one side that I would say has been there from the beginning as it is also layered in paint .
A wonky chair that is 3cm higher to the left side (This could be addressed but I like the originality and quirky stance).
