A wonderful child's oak-boarded chest.

Of boarded construction with twin line molded edge top and bottom and front and back of the lid, the sides with a flared foot and v cut out.

Original lockplate and hasp, the top snipe hinges are old replacements

A great find and a chunky box of very small size with a good natural colour and patina i would guess it has never been waxed and has a great surface with a delightful old smell when opened just like an old book.
