A Rare Charles II Child's Oak High Chair.

Yorkshire circa 1670

A rare find this little childs chair is just adorable and so cute,the top part of a high chair or a cut down wainscot i will let you decide .

Having a back panel carved with a flower head ,beneath a double-scroll carved cresting and matching ears,plain uprights and downswept scroll-ended open arms on ring turned front supports ,moulded side rails and plank seat.

A great colour and surface ,it sits rather wonky which again is part of its charm ,the facing right hand ear is a later matched replacement and a strip has been replaced in the back of the crest rail to firm it up.

A fun item for the collector.
