A Pair Of Elizabethan Oak Bed Posts.

English Circa 1560

This pair of bedpost carved with acanthus leaves ,gadrooning and a large cup and cover have recently been converted into floor standing lamps.

They certainly are a decorative statement piece with hand made William Morris Strawberry Thief  patten lampshades.

One of the cup and covers has signs of old worm in one patch apart from that they are ready to plug in and turn on.

Great colour and surface.
