An Elizabethan Carved Oak Adam And Eve.

English Circa 1580

A wonderful pair of 16th century oak carvings depicting Adam and Eve standing in front of the forbidden tree with one hand holding leaves to hide there modesty and the other pointing to there opposite shoulder ,standing on square plinth bases.

Both are carved in the round showing historic repairs to there arms and legs (original but reattached).Fine carving and Adam is looking very chiselled like a Rock star .
