A 15th Century Oak Corbel Of A Guardian.

French  Circa 1480

Carved in oak depicting a seated man adorned in highly fashionable clothing,an indication of the wealth and status of the house owner.

The man points to his eye stating that he is keeping a watchful eye on the property.

In good condition with signs of old insect dammage that is solid to the touch and lond disappeared,a good colour and definition.
