A 17th Century Oak Pantry Cupboard.

This English cupboard of joined construction has a single drawer over two doors opening to reveal a shelved interior with a shaped apron beneath.

The interior is clad in thin sheet iron with original yellow paint showing the oxidised nail heads to the exterior,i have never come across this before in an early cupboard and i presume it was to keep the contents cool hence why i have called it a pantry cupboard.

In original condition except for two corners of the top that have been tipped.

A fantastic colour and surface.
