A Magnificent Set Of Four 16th Century Carved Lions.

These wonderful rare lions were the supports from a three tier buffet ,carved in the round standing tall with there arms raised on grotesque heads which are carved with the head facing backwards.

Carved in walnut with a wonderful colour and patina ,slight loss to the rim of the front of one lion and the rear of another.

A great set and amazing to find four still together after all this time.
