English Circa 1640

Recently acquired from an East Sussex Estate .

The front and sides carved with s-scrolls with a holly and bog oak inlaid border .

Lovely condition with signs of  old hinges now being put back to original side hinges and an old keyhole in the lid where at some stage it locked from the top .
