An Elizabethan Limed Oak Fire Surround.

A fine and extremely decorative carved oak fire surround that is 16th century and later .

The mantle consisting of a renaissance carved panel with central bud and flower flanked by curvacious leaf , flower and bird over a row of guilloche finished with a lunette frieze.

Standing on a male and female caryatids.

Finished with a lime wax.

The back has later supports and the mantlepiece and curved sides are later (it comes in three pieces)

An amaziing center piece for a small lounge or bedroom
