An Early 17th Century Six Plank Chest.

West country origin of six plank design with a scribed dogtooth design flanking the lockplate and to each end.

The sides with a simple v cut out and wavy front legs.

Good natural colour and patina the snipe hinges are old replacements with an iron strap nailed to the back for extra support .
