The Largest 17th Century Desk Box I have Ever Seen.

This slope is Welsh from the Monmouthshire region carved with the bullseye design typical to this area with the initials I W under the lock plate.

The interior with a central drawer and pigeon holes to each side.

Of light colour with later hinges and lock plate.

Its huge and i challenge anybody else to find a bigger one.

37" (94cm) Wide

21" (54cm) Deep

13.5" (34cm) High.

This slope and the box listed with the same initials I W came together where they were purchased together 40 yrs ago so you never know they may have always been together.
