A Welsh Oak Bible Box Dated 1711 IW.

Constructed of plain boards with the carved initials I W and dated 1711.

Of large size with a good colour ,it has a later pine base.

31.5" (80cm) Wide

10.5" (27cm) High

18" (47cm) Deep

This box and the slope listed with the same initials I W came together where they were purchased together 40 yrs ago so you never know they may have always been together.
