A large and impressive Corpus in carved wood and polychrome probably Spanish or Portugese dating to the early 17th century.

He has a painted cloth perizoma and is realistically carved showing the veins in his arms and dents in his knees .

His arms have been detached and he shows signs of old bug damage to the back.
