A Wonderful set of three Elizabethan carved oak caryatids.

These are quality of the highest order the detail in there clothes ,there hair ,faces even down to the side edges being carved to mimic them each in the round is proof enough that these were carved for a rich man.

Each figure is different the gents have there arms exposed to different sides and one has his hand exposed and different hair patterns,the female (both breasts exposed) has both hands clasped to her chest as if she is about to curtsy.

This is a detailed rare set of good colour and condition and a slight sense of humour.
