A Rare Early 17th Century Carved Oak Panel.

Depicting a cheeky looking Wyvern with  S-scrolled body coming out of foliage that is gripped by a cheeky looking dragon.

Obviously carved by a man with a sense of humour and one that did not want to scare the people that saw it for the first time ,which to me is what makes it special.
