A Rare Early 16th Century Carved Oak Romayne Panel.

This large thick panel with a Foliate stem base supporting a central male profile within a border, with the stem continuing up flanked by greenman /wild man faces in a crescent moon shape.

This is a chunky English panel with fine carving and a good colour and surface .

Formerly a larger panel that has been cut at the sides and displays very well.
