A Late 18th Century Primitive Childs Stick Chair.

Recently aquired from the sale of  12 items on behalf of The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust where it has been situated in Shakespeare's Mothers House for the past 40 yrs.

It is also illustrated in Oak Furniture The British Tradition By Victor Chinnery on page 481 figure 4:288 in the revised edition where it is credited as being in the hands of the trust.
