A Rare Pair Of Dated Elizabethan panels

A pair of portrait panels depicting a Tudor gentleman peering out from the panel above a wreath with the date of 1572 to the centre (it is rare to find original dates pre1600 on furniture) above the most surreal dragon ,most probably from a coffer or wall panelling .

In untouched condition with a dry natural surface ,one has suffered from worm damage and has a re carved facing right hand corner.
