A Tudor Oak Linenfold Cupboard

Constructed with 16th century English Tudor Linenfold panels.

The front with four linenfold panels all with an unusual trefoil end to the folds ,deeply carved all showing good medullary rays with three iron hinges ,the sides with four slim linenfold panels ,with a boarded back and single shelf to the interior.

This cupboard of small proportions is reconstructed with 70% of it being 16th century,the door,hinges ,side panels and internal frame are all original ,the front and rear stiles ,heavy boarded back and internal shelf  are 18th century,of typical Tudor construction with all pegs coming through internally about 1"  .

Dimensions are

31"(79cm) Wide

18"(46cm) Deep

51.5"(131cm) High.

I guess you could ask is this a fully restored cupboard or a reconstructed cupboard ? i would say both but done sympathetically in a traditional way.
