A 16th Century Carved Figure Of St.Sebastian

Recently purchased on a West country buying trip

Carved lime wood figure depicting the Christian saint and martyr St.Sebastian.

French Circa 1550.

Standing at 37" high and 12" wide to the base he displays particularly well.

Of good colour to the front the rear has a dry untouched surface showing traces of original paint.
