A Rare English Gothic Carved Oak corbel.

Circa 1520

Depicting a Tudor rose above a pair of crossing gothic leaves pierced carving of deep execution and with its original polychrome of green and red hidden under years of dirt and old varnish

Later mounted i would say in the victorian period .

17" Wide

9" High

5" Deep

Displays very well and one i am tempted to keep.
