A 17th century carved oak bible box of small proportions.

This box has a wonderful colour and patina.

The two plank lid with a moulded edge over a plain carcass with a carved front consisting of flower heads and stems in a circular design,the stems with semi-circular leaves and a lock plate to center.

Condition is good,the lock plate and hinges are period replacements
