A Set Of Four English Elizabethan Carved Oak Caryatid Figures Of Outstanding Colour.

Recently purchased from Eden Hall in Edenbridge Kent from the collection of Count Thomas Riccardi-Cubitt.

Purchased by him in around 1900 from the dealer John Grant from Oxford,i have the dealers card with T.Cubitt written on the back and i have researched the life of Thomas and Eden Hall and can let you know all i have found so please get in touch for that.

Anyway here we go this set of four with good carving and expression with a very good colour that flows between toffee and dark chocolate are very pleasing to the eye,the male figures with flowing locks and beards ,the female figures with flowing locks and breasts exposed all with there arms crossed and concerned expressions on there face.

Unseen for 100yrs i am proud to be offering these for sale.
