A Fun Pair Of Elizabethan Dragon Panels.

Carved oak panels depicting S-scroll Dragons with an old paint finish.

Probably Gloucester region and from the top rail of a panelled wall.

There are about three layers of paint the top coat being a green/blue colour,glued splits and a replaced corner with later carved ear and coloured in.

Solid panels that display well

I chose these for the paint finish ,I like the crusty effect this gives these carvings and i feel it enhances the definition of the carvers style.
